The first half year of 2009 MagnaView has seen important expansion of MagnaViews portfolio in health care.

Care paths. In March, MagnaView finished a project at Atrium Medical Centre where care paths were analyzed using innovative visualization techniques. A project of TU Eindhoven and the Academic Medical Centre of the University of Amsterdam is currently validating the results of the Atrium project, in the area of Gynecological Oncology.

Pathology. Atrium medical Centre obtained licenses for use of MagnaView’s data visualization software in Pathology.

Clinical chemistry. Microbiology. In cooperation with partner Philips Medical Systems and with support from the Alkmaar Medical Centre, MagnaView developed a tool for visual analysis in microbiology.

Research. The European Institute for Oncology (Milano, Italy) has selected MagnaView for data analysis after an inventory  made by MagnaView-partner Bicon3.

Cure-care-logistics. Atrium Medical Centre commissioned MagnaView to make an analysis of data on patient logistics using MagnaView’s data visualization software. Atrium cooperates with nursing homes in its area to make sure patients make the easiest transition from the hospital to these nursing homes.

Care. MagnaView was selected to carry out a large scale ICT-audit for InteraktContour. With over 80 locations and 1150 employees, InteraktContour is responsible for care for over 2200 clients. MagnaView was selected from a shortlist of 6 companies to carry out this audit.
